Saturday sessions offers four weekends of tuition, teaching a new skill each week, with time to practice and review.
Overview
The purpose is to up-skill participants in all aspects of factual (non-fiction) video production. We always start with camera training and quickly build up your technical skills with industry standard equipment. Each session will start with a practical training workshop in a specific area of video production. Afterwards, we designate a few hours in working on projects to practice these skills.
We will publish participants' videos online or broadcast them on the local TV channel (Freeview 7/8, Virgin 159) as part of our regular output on a Sunday evening. Projects are either sourced by the participants or derived from the mass of potential stories available to our producers.
